Among the most important properties, we have the degree of dispersion of the metal active phase, which contributes to the number of active sites on the surface, thus influencing the reactivity and selectivity of the catalyst. In parallel, surface properties such as the presence of acid and basic sites play a very important role in certain chemical reactions.
